Update: 28/11/11
Many readers have been asking about the Octonauts Peso figure and if they are available! Well the offical answer is that Peso and a few other characters are not part of the first wave of Octonauts toys and that they were going to be released in the new year in the 2012 range of Octonauts toys, but it seems that some retailers who have had their spring 2012 toy deliveries early have already started putting these figures on shelves and now you can get the following sets on ebay:

I heard yesterday that it is possible to get Peso and all the others that have not been so widely available, is this true? If so why on earth are they no where to be found. My son loves Peso best so really keen to find one!
Hi Donna, Peso the Penguin won’t be available to buy until the new year i’m afraid.
peso, shellington and tweak are available (in two packs) and are being sold on ebay for extortionate prices!! i dont know where these people are getting them from as i have emailed fisher price and have been told they will not be out untill january 2012. i have looked on a lot of websites to try and track these elusive characters down but to no avail. how are the people on ebay getting them?
Hi Susan, we have been told that a few retailers may have put out early stock on to the shelves of some toy stores wthout realizing and people are buying them and selling them on ebay. We will put up a link for all our readers who may want to take a look. New Octonauts toys will be arriving in the new year!
I too had been on the hunt the Octonauts toys, for my little boys christmas present. But as started on the website, I spoke to Matel and they told me just that. Some shops have been sent 2012 stock and have put them on the shelves early. Asda seems to be the one to do this mainly. I find it very annoying as now there is a bidding war, and people are buying up this stock and putting it on Ebay and the toys are going for crazy amounts. I saw Peso going for £26 with 16 bids, and still two days left on auction.
hi all my son also loves octonauts ive seen peso and others on ebay but the price on there for a peso is between £30/£40 just for peso. fisher price have told me peso will be out in january and that shops had there stock early and have put them out already thats why peso is going for loads on ebay
Hi, I got a Peso from Sainsburys. Just keep a look out they’re there!
PS they had a tweak and Shellington too. Maybe I should have bought them and flogged them on ebay, but that’s just wrong!
Hi all, I just happened to stumble across peso, shellington and tweak from sainsburys. I managed to get them all but my friend who went in 10 mins after me couldn’t get any. They are flying out as soon as they coming in. I was one of the lucky ones! They are in the twin packs with a creature and they are £4.99.. good luck in finding them.
Hi i had no idea it was so hard to get hold of peso i actually got one from a tesco store it was just on the shelf and my son loves them so picked it up my friend was amazed when i told her as she had been looking for one she went to get one but it seems i took the only one must of been lucky!! x
i found peso & shellington for £4.98 in tesco today. they only had one of each so they are out there!!!
Hi I was lucky enough to have a lovely family run toyshop near me and they had a Peso figure pack out so got it for £4 something and I told them the prices they were getting on Ebay and the woman was digusted at how people could do that. I saw on Smyths that they are selling the plush toys but they were very unhelpful as they don’t do online ordering on these toys and don’t take over the phone payment either and I really wanted one for my son for christmas without paying the stupid prices. But I am not driving 60miles+ for a single toy.
hi ive been on the look out too with no luck my son has the octopod, captain barnicles and kwarzii which he had for christmas and loves i really want to get the other figures for his bday in january but its looking bad!please email me if anyone knows where i can buy these from, not from ebay as it is ridiculous how people are selling them for high prices and ripping people off!
The ones on ebay are a joke £26 for a peso they cost £5 in shops lol some people.
Would love to know where they are getting them from ive been to all my supermarkets
It’s called supply and demand the basic law of economics – supply dictates the price – you can’t blame the sellers on ebay – the manufacturer should get their act together and make these more widely available! I’m desperate to get hold of a tweak for my daughter if I had the money I’d pay £20!
